Wendell Barker

Wendell Ray Barker, age 50 of Arnold Rd., Lexington died sudden Friday at his home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Reedy Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Egbert Craven, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Barker was born August 14, 1957 in Davidson County to Arvil Ray Barker and Mildred Irene Leonard Barker. He was a member of Reedy Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are a sister, Marilyn Shinn and husband, Jim of Lexington, a niece, Lisa Childers and husband, Kenny of Lake Wylie, SC and a nephew, Justin Shinn of Lexington, Special Aunts and Uncle, George and Betty Barney and Peggy Leonard. The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, June 23, 2008 at DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME and other times at the sister, W.
