Wendy Louia

Wendy Leigh Louia, age 48, of Danner Road, Mocksville passed away Thursday night (December 15, 2011) at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Palliative Care. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday (December 19, 2011) in the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with Rev. Michael Louia officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Sunday night and at other times at the home of her parents, 401 Eastwood Drive, Lexington. Wendy was born in Davidson County, June 17, 1963 to Wendell Wilkie Louia and Mary Lee Everhart Louia. She was a former waitress at Clemmons Kitchen; grew up attending Second Reformed United Church of Christ and was a graduate of North Davidson High School, class of 1981. She is survived by her parents; Wendell and Mary Lee Louia of Lexington; brother, Rev. Michael Louia and wife Nancy of Funkstown, MD; niece, Megan Louia; nephew, Ryan Louia and wife Alisha; and her boy friend of 20 years, Gary Lashmit of Mocksville and a host of cousins.
