Wilbert Elmer Ball

Wilbert Elmer Ball, age 91, passed away on March 19, 2019.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, March 25, 2019 in the Davidson Funeral Home-Hickory Tree Chapel with Pastor Roger Dean Weisner officiating. Burial will be private at Parklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service.

Wilbert was born in Davidson County on September 12, 1927 to William Elmer Ball and Clara Johnson Ball. He was a retired employee of AT & T Company. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruby Perryman Ball and their only child, Byron W. Ball.

Surviving are his daughter-in-law, Patrice Ball, his grandsons, Nathan Ball and Ryan Windus and great-grandson Wesley Wisewood all of Portland, Oregon; his sister, Evelyn Weisner, brother, Larry Ball and sister-in-law Carolyn Ball, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to donors favorite charity.
