Wilburn Leslie Jones, Jr.

Wilburn Leslie Jones Jr., 60, of Arrington Drive, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center following an illness of one month. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016, at First United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Jamie Armstrong and Rev. Dr. Ray N. Howell 3rd officiating. The family will receive friends in the church parlor one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Mr. Jones was born October 17, 1955, in Davidson County, to Wilburn Leslie Jones and Miheepa Harb Jones. He was an auto mechanic and auto body repair specialist at Wills Body Shop. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Wayne Jones. Surviving are son, Justin L. Jones of Lexington; brother, James Barton Jr. and wife Brenda of Lexington; sister, Josephine Michael Clodfelter and husband Darrell of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews.
