Willa Cribb Koonts

Willa Cribb Koonts, 54, of Old Pasture Road, Linwood, died Wednesday, May 13 at her home. A private funeral service will be held at Madison Heights Freewill Baptist Church, by the Rev. David Robinson. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Koonts was born August 12, 1965 in Columbus County to Esther Strickland Cribb Wagner. She worked in child care, and was a member of Madison Heights Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Koonts, of the home; her sons, David Queen (Sandra), Shandal Queen (Jessica), both of Lexington; her step-son, Michael Koonts (Crystal) of Linwood; her step-daughter, Christie Smith (Frankie) of Linwood; her brothers, Terry Cribb, Sr. of High Point and Sammie Cribb Jr. of Alabama; her sisters, Rhonda Fipps of Lexington, and Edna Cribb of Concord; her grandchildren, Landon Queen, Aubrey Queen, Natalie Queen, Easton Queen, Ryan Smith, Justin Smith, Brett Smith, Annie Koonts, Gabriel Koonts, and Jaden Cribb; and her special nephew, James Akers, Jr, of Greenville, SC.
