William "Bill" Smith

HEADING NAME: William “Bill” Smith   William “Bill” Zander Smith, 73, of Henderson Lane, Lexington NC, died Saturday at his home. Memorial service will be 11:00 am Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, with Rev. Doug McGee officiating.   Mr. Smith was born March 13, 1936 in Davidson County to Henderson Alexander Smith and Falle Viola Sane Smith. He was a retired employee of Stanley Furniture and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents.   Surviving are two sons, Ricky Smith and wife Barbara of Asheboro; Reggie Story of Linwood; two daughters Tina Campbell and Lynn Cranmer both of Lexington; one sister, Nellie Jarvis and husband Harvey of Lexington; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.     The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 until 11:00 am prior to the service.           Online condolences may be made at http://www.davidsonfuneralhome.net/
