William “Buck” Ezekiel Ware, 69, of S. NC Highway 150, died Thursday, June 16, 2011, at Va Medical Center in Salisbury, following several years of declining health.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Solomon officiating. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. with military honors at National Cemetery in Salisbury. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the funeral home and other times at the home.
Mr. Ware was born August 12, 1941, in Braxton County, W. Va., to Ezekiel Marple Ware and Martha Estel McCourt Ware. He was a member of True Word Baptist and retired saw operator of Thomasville Industries.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Anderson Ware of the home; sons, Jeffrey Ware and wife, Cynthia, and Bradley Ware all of Lexington; two grandchildren, Amber Craver and husband, Josh and Crystal Everhart and husband, Josh; brothers, Robert Ware, Lanty Ware, David Ware, all of W. Virginia, and Jeffrey Ware of Kentucky; and sisters, Janet Conrad of W. Va., and Shirley Chada of Virginia.
