William Buie

William John “W.J.” Buie 92 of Southmont Pond Road, Lexington died Sunday at Lexington Memorial Hospital.   A Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Billy Pearson, and burial will follow.   He was born in Davidson County April 13 1916 to William “Will” Buie and Lizelle Buie. He was retired from Norfolk-Southern Railroad and was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Sadie Owens Buie who died March 29, 2004; and a son, Foy Buie.   Surviving are: two sons, Stanley Buie and wife Vernita and Troy Lee Buie all of Lexington; 3 Grandsons, Gary Buie, Randall Buie and Mike Buie; three Great-Grandchildren, Carl Buie, Hannah Buie and Kristen Buie.   The Family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6-8 pm Monday and at other times at the home.    Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
