William Charles Clodfelter

William Charles Clodfelter (Chuck) , 69, of Greenville , suddenly passed away on May 31, 2022  at Vidant Medical Center.

A service to celebrate Chuck’s life will be held at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church on Monday June 6, at 3:00 pm with Pastor Jennifer Ginn officiating. Family will see friends at the church in Pless Hall from 2:00pm till service time. Burial will follow in Sandy Creek Cemetery.

Chuck was born on December 20, 1952, to Colon (Tommy) and Margaret Clodfelter in Lexington NC. After Chuck graduated from Lexington High School in 1971, he went to ECU and earned his graduate degree in rehabilitation counseling in 1979.

Chuck loved hunting, fishing, music and being with his family and friends. He was an expert in hunting and fishing. He was his happiest when he was outdoors. Through his lifelong experience in hunting and fishing, he became a self-taught expert. Willing to share his knowledge with anyone, he made many friends.

To know him was to love him.

Chuck is survived by his wife Paige Davis Clodfelter (Greenville), his parents Tommy and Margaret Clodfelter (Lexington), his son William Cody Clodfelter (Greenville) and two grandchildren that he adored, Charlotte Wynn and Wyatt Cole Clodfelter (Greenville) and his stepson Davis Reason (Amy) (Williamston).

In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, 4299 South Highway 150, Lexington, NC 27295.
