William Arvil Dunbar, Jr.

William Arvil Dunbar Jr., 44, of Twelve Oaks Drive, died Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at his home. A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Freedom Baptist Church with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. The family will receive friends at 190 Pineland Avenue, afterwards for those who cannot make the service. Mr. Dunbar was born January 22, 1972, in Davidson County, to William Arvil Dunbar Sr. and Bonnie Marie Owens Dunbar. He was employed at Shelba Johnson Trucking. In addition to his father and mother he was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Lee Marion. Surviving are sons, Bradley Dunbar, Kadeem Leonard, and John Lee Dunbar, all of Lexington; daughters, Destiny Dunbar and Daija Dunbar, all of Lexington; brothers, Terry Owens and wife Amy and Jamie Dunbar and wife Amanda, all of Lexington; and sisters, Mary Vanzant and husband Roger and Michelle Everhart and husband Larry, all of Lexington and his girlfriend; Lacherri Jarvis of the home.
