William Vernon Faircloth, 77, of South Salisbury Street, died Friday, March 17, 2006, at the home of a son on Old U.S. Highway 64 West.
A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Gospel Light Baptist Church Cemetery in Walkertown.
Mr. Faircloth was born in Conway, S.C., on July 28, 1928, to Lewis Monroe Faircloth and Edna Leigh Causey Faircloth. He had worked in the furniture industry and was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Martha Jane Perdue Faircloth of the home; five sons, Harley Lewis Faircloth and Roland V. Faircloth, both of Thomasville, Ralph Lynn Faircloth of Trinity, Michael Faircloth of Southmont and Chris Faircloth of Utah; five daughters, Teresa Schaub of Utah, Crystal Campbell of Dobson, Lucy Young of Trinity and Faye Hill and Bernice Lang, both of Lexington; three stepchildren, Ronald Hartsell of Lake City, Fla., Timmy Hartsell of Reeds and Tonya Hartsell of Winston-Salem; 30 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lewis James Faircloth of China Grove and Jennings Faircloth of Ocala, Fla.; and three sisters, LeMackey Barlow of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., Linda Baucom of Greensboro and Dulerene Robbins of Surfside Beach, S.C.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.
