William Thomas Lawhorn, 71, of Mill Street, died Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Lexington City Cemetery by Preacher Clyde Akers.
Visitation will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at Davidson Funeral Home.
Mr. Lawhorn was born Dec. 24, 1942, in Danville, Va., to William Henry Lawhorn and Alice Daniels Lawhorn. He was retired from Hill Spinning Mills and was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter Vicky Primm.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Lawhorn, of the home; two daughters, Donna Wilson and Kathy Loman, both of Lexington; two sisters, Jean Frazier and husband David of Siler City and Diane Lawhorn of Asheboro; five grandchildren, Jessica Wilson, Jeremy Franks, Nathan McBride, Felicia McBride and Austin Loman; and three great-grandchildren, Jaeden Kirkland, Javion Kirkland and Jah'nyla Kirkland; and a very special friend, Sherry Bolden.
