William Eugene Link, 82, of Gray Mill Road, died Friday, March 23, 2012, at Hinkle Hospice House.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Grace Alliance Church, with the Rev. William Paul Link officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Link was born August 25, 1929, in Guilford County, to Joseph Gurley Link and Nona Conrad Link. He attended Piedmont Bible College; Pastored West End Alliance Church in Charlotte; and retired from Lexington Furniture Industries. He was a member of Grace Alliance Church.
Surviving are his loving wife, Minevia Marie Link; two sons, John Martin of Atlanta, Rev. William Paul Link of Greenville, S.C.; grandsons, Matthew, Michael, Joshua, Jonathon, and Andrew Link; great-grandchildren, Sara Ann, Emily Mae, Michael Brantley, William Levi and Caleb Eugene; and brother, Tommy Link of Denton.
He fought a good fight, He finished the course, He kept the faith: and now he has gone to receive a crown for being a faithful servant.
