William Martin Smith

William “ Will” Martin Smith IV, 25 of Community Road, died suddenly Thursday, November 27, 2008 from a car accident. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, December 1, 2008 at Canaan United Methodist Church with the Rev. Chuck Ireson officiating. Burial will followed in the church cemetery. Mr. Smith was born in Forsyth County on August 6, 1983 to William Martin “Bill” Smith, III and JoElaine Clements Smith. He was employed with Summer Industries and O’Reilly Auto Parts. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William M. Smith, Jr. and Dorothy Louise Warren Smith;and Elbert Carlton Clements. He is survived by his parents and his grandparents Jack and Phyllis Merrell of Lexington; two brothers, Zebedee Daniel Smith and his wife Megan Edison of Charlotte, NC and Corey Phillip Smith and his wife Chae, Sang Mi of Fayetteville, NC; one nephew, Brandon Arry Smith and many aunts, uncles and cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 30, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel.
