William Steve Mize

Steve Mize, age 69 of Michael Drive, Lexington passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 at his home. A memorial service and inurnment will be held at a later date at Salisbury National Cemetery. Steve was born in Davidson County, November 10, 1947 to William (Bill) James Mize, Jr. and Inez Michael Mize. Steve was a graduate of North Davidson High School, Class of 1966 and was a veteran of the US Army and served his country in the Vietnam War. He had attended Beulah United Church of Christ and was a retired employee of Myers Tool Company. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lisa Everhart Mize in 2013 and a brother, Billy Durane Mize. Surviving are his son, Adam Mize of the home; sister, Debbie Mize Jones and husband Forrest of Lexington; sister-in-law, Sherry Mize. Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
