William Edward Parks, 70, of Davidson County, passed away peacefully at his home, Sunday, February 23, 2025.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.
A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home and then the committal will take place at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Edward was born on October 8, 1954, in Davidson County, to the late Howard Zeno Parks and Mary Etta Lanning Parks. Upon finishing high school, he went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from UNCG. He worked for many years alongside his wife, Pam, managing real estate properties and in doing so, made many lifelong friends.
He is remembered as one of the hardest working and genuine people one could have the pleasure of knowing. Ed remained headstrong and was always quick with a joke even until the end. The love he held for his family was paramount in his life and the grandchildren were always his pride and joy.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Parks.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Pamela Bedsole Parks, of the home; sons, Michael Parks, of Denton, and Alan Parks (Jessica), of Lexington; brother, Tommy Parks (Jean); and three grandchildren, Luke Parks, Ella Perrell, and Holden Perrell.
His legacy and values will continue to live on in his family and friends.
