William Ronald Perrell

William Ronald Perrell, age 77, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, at Hinkle Hospice House.

Born on July 18, 1948, in Davidson County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late William Perrell and Ruby Kirk Perrell.

Mr. Perrell dedicated over 30 years of service to the City of Thomasville, where he served as Planning and Zoning Director before his retirement. He was known for his commitment to his community and the lasting impact of his work. He also proudly served his country as a member of the National Guard.

He was a devoted husband, having shared 54 loving years of marriage with his wife, Guylynn Rabon Perrell. Together they built a life centered on family, dedication, and love.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Zebulan Perrell; his daughter, Roni Wilson and husband Jack; and other extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
