William Oscar Rollins

William Oscar Rollins, 90, of Swing Dairy Road, died Thursday, December 17, 2009, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. Inurnment will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Rollins was born April 28, 1919, in Martin County, to Stephen Rollins and Florence Perkins Rollins. He was a sander at Burlington Furniture and served in the U.S. Army. Surviving are his wife, Martha Corpening Rollins; stepson, LeRoy Corpening and wife, Lisa, of Lenoir; daughter, Janice Kendrick of Detroit, Mi.; and four grandchildren.
