William Wright Sambleson

William “Bill” Wright Sambleson age 68 passed away Tuesday afternoon (08-31-2010) at Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be held Friday (09-03-2010) at Davidson Funeral Hickory Tree Chapel at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Dr. Stephen Pillsbury officiating. Burial will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday at Sunset Memorial Park in Smithfield, NC. A visitation will be held at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree on Thursday, (09-02-2010) from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Bill was born on July 5, 1942 in Connecticut to Robert Fulton Sambleson, Sr. and Vera Platt Sambleson. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Robert Mitchell Sambleson, and a brother Robert Fulton Sambleson. He was owner of Bakers Connection. He was a member of Center United Methodist Church and the Civitans of Welcome. Surviving is his wife Faye Connell Sambleson of the home; two daughters, Amy Lynn Sambleson and Elizabeth Callahan and husband Michael both of North Myrtle Beach, SC; two step-sons, Baron V. Bohannon of Greensboro, Russell A. Bohannon of Florida; seven grandchildren; Wesley, Nolan, Logan, Andrew, Taylor, Hunter and Blake.
