Willie Lee Benson Jr., 51, of Salisbury, died Tuesday, June 06, 2017, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. A celebration of his life will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ. Mr. Benson was born July 11, 1965, in Cumberland County, to Willie Lee Benson Sr. and Nancy Margaret Barfield Benson. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are brother, Bruce Benson of the home; nephew, Bruce Benson II and wife Heather of Lexington; great-nephews, Landon and Parker Benson; and great-niece, Addison Benson.
