June 19, 1931 — April 30, 2012

Willie June Biesecker, 80, of Hampton Street, died Monday, April 30, 2012, at Wake Forest Baptist Health – Lexington Medical Center, following an extended illness. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2012, at Lexington Church of God, where he was a member, with the Rev. Lonnie Daugherty and Dathan Tate officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012, at the church, and other times at the home. Mr. Biesecker was born June 19, 1931, in Davidson County, to Zeb Vance Biesecker and Stella Byerly Biesecker. He was owner/operator of Willie Biesecker Motors and a charter member of Golden Triangle Coon Club. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Katen Biesecker; son, Willie Dean Biesecker; brothers, Jerry Biesecker and Coy Biesecker; daughter-in-law, Susan Sink Biesecker; and sisters, Lucille Haupt, Nellie Wilson, and Thelma Leonard. Surviving are sons, Chris Biesecker of Linwood; daughters, Treva Biesecker Myers and Debra Robbins and husband, Jeff, both of Lexington; four grandchildren, Dathan Tate and wife, Brooke, Jessica Wooten and husband, Shannon, Brandon Biesecker and wife, Jenny, and Cortney Biesecker and fiancé, Melvin Clark; nine great-grandchildren, Logan Wooten, Ethan Biesecker, Gabriel Wooten, Abram Tate, Jaidyn Wooten, Asher Tate, Ezra Biesecker, Elyza Biesecker, and Amilya Clark; and sister, Rhonda Frost. Memorials may be made to Lexington Church of God, 802 West Fourth Avenue, Lexington, NC 27292.
