Willie Veigh Fitzgerald

Willie Veigh McCarn Fitzgerald, 93, of Fitzgerald Farm Road in Linwood, passed away Monday August 23, 2021 at her home.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday August 25, 2021 at Linwood United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Lindquist and Rev. Cynthia Arnold conducting services.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home.

Mrs. Fitzgerald was born July 11, 1928 in Davidson County to Griffie McCarn and Girlie Broadway. She was retired from Erlanger Mills and was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Melvin Fitzgerald; her son Charles Roger Fitzgerald; five brothers, Jack McCarn, Leroy McCarn, Johnny McCarn, Richard McCarn and Harold McCarn; one sister Margaret Atkins and a son-in-law David Grubb.

Surviving is her daughter, Louise Grubb, of Linwood, 2 grandchildren Donna Sink (Terry) and Mitzi Tester (Kevin) and 1 great-grandchild Alicen Tester (Fiancee Andrew Queen).
