Willie Hyatt

Willie Joe Hyatt, 80, of Sycamore St., Lexington passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in Abbotts Creek Nursing Home.   A Memorial service will be held at a later date.   Mr. Hyatt was born July 4, 1936 in Forsyth County to Alexander Thomas Hyatt and Helen Florence Lowery Hyatt. He was a self employed carpenter. Willie was a veteran having served in the US Army. Preceding him in death was a son, David Joe Hyatt, and a brother, Grant Thomas Hyatt.     Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Lea Farmer Hyatt of the home; a son, Tom Hyatt; four daughters, Hannah Mayne, Loretta Hyatt, Robin Dubois, and Ruth Hyatt; a brothers, Ray Hyatt and a sister, Gracie Hoyle, 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
