Willie Isom Mullins, 85, of Hillview Drive, died Thursday, November 22, 2007, at his home.
The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2007, at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel by the Bishop Michael L. Johnson. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery.
Mr. Mullins was born May 19, 1922, in Kingston, TN., to David Jessie Mullins and Josie Mullins Mullins. He was retired from the State of Maryland. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Dotson Mullins in 2006.
Surviving are daughters, Claudiette Dills of Lexington and Carolyn Mullins of Kernersville; special grandchildren, Daniel Kevin Sadler, Melissa Weaver and husband, Rusty, Gary Shawn Cutlip, Aaron Edward Gray and Candace Lauren Gray; special great-grandchildren, Savannah Madison Cutlip and Eugene Russell Weaver, IV. a brother, DJ Mullins and wife, Lena of Maryland; brother-in-law, Nade Dotson of Virginia; sisters-in-law, Marie Yates, Emma Jean Felty both of Virginia, Georgia Hamilton of Maryland and many nieces and nephews. Special Friends, Richard Floyd, Jeanette Cooper, Cecil Mason, Claude and Ruth Ann Peters, and his church family.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and other times at the home.
