Willis “Toby” Grant Younts, age 85 of Eastview Drive Lexington passed away Wednesday morning at Lexington Memorial Hospital. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday at Beck’s Reformed Church conducted by Rev. Gerald M. Sanders. Burial will follow in Beck’s Reformed Church Cemetery with military graveside rites by VFW Post 3074. Mr. Younts was born in Davidson County, May 4, 1923 to Walter Grant Younts and Mary Lohr Younts. He retired from Sealy of the Carolinas, member of Beck’s Reformed Church, and former Elder, Central Lions Club, VFW Post 3074 and American Legion Post 8. He was a Veteran of World War II, having served in the 4th Division 22nd Infantry of the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son; David Grant Younts, Sister; Mildred Younts Craver and husband William, sister in Laws Mint Frank Younts, Ruby Hedrick Younts, and Earlene Hedrick Foster and husband Sherman. Surviving are; Wife; Willa Hedrick Younts of the home, son; Keith Hedrick Younts of the home, 3 Grandsons; Timothy Younts and wife Kenda, Michael Younts and wife Truly, and Bryan Younts, 2 Great Grandsons; Damion and Logan Younts, Daughter in Law; Judy Norman Younts of Lexington, brothers; Charles Lindsay Younts, R. Bruce Younts and wife Betty and Walter Lohr Younts and wife Linda all of Lexington and a sister Laura Younts Surratt and husband Lloyd of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Thursday night at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the residence.
