Willis Lee (Bill) Sink, age 103, of Lexington Health Care formerly of Rowe Road, Lexington passed away Monday (December 20, 2010) at Lexington Health Care. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Thursday (December 23, 2010) at First Lutheran Church with Pastor Derek Boggs officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and at other times at the home of his daughter Susan Bizzell on Rowe Road.
Bill was born in Davidson County, September 23, 1907 to John Henry Sink and Lou Ella Leonard Sink. He was a retired employee of Adams Millis Hosiery in High Point. He was a member of First Lutheran Church and was a mason in High Point for 78 years. He was
preceded in death by his parents, wife of 77 years Novelia (Lib) Turner sink on February 15, 2008; a grandson, Edward Bizzell, III, a great-grandson, Will Bizzell; five sisters, Sadie Sink, Mary Sink and Polly Sink, Ella Mae Everhart and Dot Meadows; two brothers, Ray Sink and Garland Sink.
Surviving are: one daughter, Susan Bizzell and husband Ed of Lexington; one son, Jim Sink and wife Cindy of Ridgeway, CO; six grandchildren, Tawn Bizzell and Renee Bizzell both of Lexington, Brad Bizzell of Blacksburg, VA, Lisa Sink of Montross, CO, Shawna Pruitt of Buford, GA and Valerie Imbriaco of Grand Junction, CO; eight-grandchildren Erin Edwards and Susan Burke of Lexington, Kellie Michael of High Point, Megan and Matthew of Grand Junction, CO, Erick Bizzell of Blacksburg, VA, Taylor and Garrett Pruitt of Buford, GA; two great-great grandchildren, Ethan and Emma Edwards of Lexington.
