Willis James Britt

Willis James Britt, 84, of East US Highway 64, died Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Hinkle Hospice House.  The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Davidson Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Merrill officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Mr. Britt was born November 19, 1932, in Columbus County, to Robert Britt and Omar Lawson Britt. He was retired from Owens Illinois where he served as a crew leader. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.  Surviving are his loving wife, Mary Hilbourn Britt, of the home; sons, James Britt (Karen) of Midway and Robbie Britt (Charlotte) of Mt.
