Wilma Artha Hicks

Wilma Hicks, 75, of  West Old Highway 64, died Thursday November 29, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Cemter in Winston Salem.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday December 3, 2018  at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Victor Hicks Jr. officiating services.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00 pm Monday at Davidson Funeral Home.

Ms. Hicks was born in Watauga County to Clinard Roosevelt Hicks and Beulah Blanche Pressnell Hicks. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Donas Hicks and Victor Hicks; four sisters, Mamie Shrewsberry, Dolly MaeWard, Faye Pressenell and Louanna Pressenell.

Surviving are three brothers, Junior Hicks (Gracie), James “Brownie” Hicks (Sue),and Haymon Hicks (Penny); one sister, Sally Jean Hunt; a special niece, Kathy Spencer, a special nephew, James Pressnell and her special fur babies, Spot and Rin.
