Wilma Chamberlain Milner, age 90, of Brookstone Retirement formerly of Leonard Road, Lexington passed away Friday, February 19, 2010 at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Monday February 22, 2010 at Testimonial Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Sutton and Rev. Michael McDaniel officiating. Burial will following in Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home at other times at the home of her daughter, Glenda Pierce, 2734 West Center Street Ext.
Mrs. Milner was born in Iredell County on November 11, 1919 to John Hunter Chamberlain and Bertha Lee Lindsay Chamberlain. She was a homemaker and a member of Testimonial Baptist Church. Her husband, James Richard Milner, Sr. died July 3, 1983, her parents and brothers Hal Chamberlain and Asa Chamberlain also preceded her in death.
Surviving are sons, Richard Milner, Jr. and wife Lois and Terry Milner and wife Becky all of Lexington, daughters, Glenda Pierce and husband Chuck and Judy Forrest and husband Jesse all of Lexington. Grandchildren, Tony Shuemaker and wife Tammy, Randy Shuemaker and wife Kelly, Wendy Newman and husband Joey, Johnny Milner and wife Angie, Shelia Stone, Edna Melton and husband Tommy, Chris Forrest and wife Anita, Kyle Forrest, Lyn Milner and wife Teresa, and Chad Milner and wife Julie, 21 great grandchildren and 1 Great great grandchild.
