Wilma Robertson Shouse Sizemore

January 3, 1930 — January 5, 2017

Wilma Robertson Shouse Sizemore, age 87, of Midway passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 at her home with family by her side.   A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Harold Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow at the Parklawn Memorial Park in Winston Salem.   The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service.   Ms. Sizemore was born on January 3, 1930 in Forsyth County to Curtis Marvin Robertson and Ada Leona  Leftwitch Robertson. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, George Agnew Shouse; her second husband, MacDaniel Sizemore; and two brothers, Thurman Robertson, and Elwood Robertson and a step-son Garry Sizemore.   Surviving are three daughters, Connie Reeves (Kerry Decker) of Lexington, Linda Weaver (Larry) of Mechanicsville, VA, and Gina Ginn (Kelly) of Linwood; two step-sons, Dannie Sizemore and Barry Sizemore & families; two brothers, Harold Robertson (Pat), and Jimmy Robertson (Edith) all of Lexington; two sisters, Norma Spear of King, and Betty Hartman (Harold) of Rural Hall; five grandchildren, Chad Weaver (Audrey), Cyndi Bollander (Bill), Michael Phelps (Beth), Chris Phelps, Brittany Shaw (Chance), and her granddog Roxy; and thirteen great grandchildren, Rebekah, Ethan, Bethany, and Hannah Bollander, Elizabeth, and Matthew Orgo “Weaver”, Sarah, Leah, Michael, Anna, and Marley Phelps, and Jaxson and Jake Shaw; step-grandchildren, Jennifer Thompson, Joel Sizemore, Sarah Bridges and families. Many Nieces and Nephews.   The family would like to extend a special thanks to caretakers Brandy Garris and Claudiette Mason for their tender love and care.   Memorials may be directed to Hospice and Palliative Care of Winston Salem and Forsyth County at 101 Hospice Lane Winston Salem, NC 27103.   Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
