Winfred Lindsay Leonard

Winfred Lindsay Leonard, Sr., age 80 of Elwin Circle, Lexington passed away Thursday April 30, 2015 at Lexington Health Care. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 2, 2015 in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Rev. Joe Bare officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:45 until 10:45 prior to the service, and at other times at their respective homes. Winfred was born in Davidson County September 25, 1934 to Marvin Elvin and Loraine America Leonard. He was a member of Hope Chapel Baptist Church in Archdale and retired from Lance, Inc. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his daughter, Teresa Leonard Tucker (Terry Lee, Sr.) of Lexington; son, Winfred Lindsay Leonard (Denise) of Lexington; grandchildren, Terry Lee Tucker, Jr of Lexington, Ricky Lee tucker of Fayetteville and Jennifer Clouse of Chattanooga, TN; and 5 great-grandchildren.
