Worth Redding Saunders

Worth Redding Saunders, age 84, of Del Vista Drive, Lexington passed away Saturday at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston Salem.   Graveside service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro with Rev. David Langley officiating. Burial will follow with military honors by Randolph County Honor Guard.   There will be no public visitation.   Worth was born in Randolph County April 20, 1928 to Aaron Thomas Saunders and Willie Louise Coble Saunders. He was retired sales manager for Sherwin Williams Paint; graduate of Asheboro Business College; of the Baptist faith; veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Navy and a member of VFW Post 3074. Worth was preceded in death by parents; wife, Edna Louise Maness Saunders December 9, 2001.   Worth is survived by; 2 sons, Bobby G. Saunders and wife Shelby of Lexington, Robbin Lynn Saunders of Bishop, CA; 2 grandchildren; Ryan T. Saunders and Lauren N. Saunders of Salsibury; 2 step-grandchildren, Marcus Z. Hayden and Brandon A.
