Wynn Drury

Winifred “Miss. Wynn” H. Drury, 96, of Alston Brook, formerly of Swicegood Road, Linwood, went to be with her heavenly Father, Monday, April 28, 2014, at Hinkle Hospice House.  No services are planned at this time.  Mrs. Drury was born in Oklahoma, April 5, 1918, to Samuel Clemmons Reiswig and Agnes Lorenz Reiswig. She worked at Robinsons department Store in Anaheim California before retiring to Kern River, Ca. She moved to Tyro in 2001 with her husband, Herb. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Drury who died April 24, 2007; a brother, C. Curly Reiswig; and a sister, Joyce J. Guyer.  Surviving are two nieces, Denise Snow Biggins and her husband Trevor of Tyro and their children, Leah of California and Garrett of Tyro, and Lori Jo Sharpe and husband Andy of Tyro and their son, Travis of Oklahoma.  Memorials may be directed to Higher Ground Baptist Church Building Fund, 1351 Lamb Road, Lexington, NC 27295 or Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
