Youlin "Newlan" Otto Spears

Youlin Otto “Newlan” Spears, age 69, of N. NC Highway 150, Lexington passed away Saturday night February 4, 2012 at the home of his sister. There will be no public funeral service. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday night and at other times at the home of a son Newlan Spears, 4300 West Center Street Ext., Lexington. Newlan was born in Wilkes County, October 17, 1942 to Andrew Spears and Vernie Church Spears. He was a retired Auto Body Repairman. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are; three sons, Newlan Spears, Jr. and wife April, Tracy Spears and wife Angela, Michael Travis Spears all of Lexington; five grandchildren, Steven, Megan, Tyler, Brent and Tripp; two sisters, Elena Fisher and Sue Roseberry both of Lexington; three brothers, Ronnie Spears of Lexington, Roger Spears of Dobson and J.C.
