Yvonne Pardon Nance, of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday morning, April 24, 2025.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree.

A Celebration of Life will take place following the visitation, at 3:00 PM, in the Hickory Tree Chapel.

Yvonne, Mama, Mammaw, and most importantly faithful servant in Christ lived a life that was a testament of unwavering faith and selfless service. Her passion for sharing the good news of Jesus, volunteering with various ministries, Bible Club in elementary schools, and in her nursing career of more than 50 years at Forsyth Medical Center, where she touched countless lives with the hope of the gospel. She was relentless in her mission to share her love of the Lord. If you met her, she was instantly your friend. She believed that every moment was an opportunity to reflect Christ’s love, and it was evident in everything she did. Her kindness, humility, and compassion drew others to her. Yvonne was an example of what a Godly woman was in the way she lived her life every day. She strived to reflect his character in all she did. Her beauty shined from a spirit of grace, kindness, compassion, and integrity.

Along with her mother, Lillian Boles, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lenn Dale Nance; son, John V. Pardon Jr; brother, Larry Boles; and much-loved fur baby, Bear.

Left to carry on her legacy are her daughters, Rhonda Sharpe (Tommy), of Winston Salem; and their children Tom Sharpe Jr. (Carrie), and Hope Johnston (Randall), and Kay Walters, of Midway and her children Daniel Walters, and Lillie Krites (Evan)  sister-in-law, Faye Boles; great grandchildren, Katie, Allie, Camdyn, Talyn, and Miles; nieces, Donna, Michelle, and Audra; and the Forsyth Medical Center Retiree Group, notably, Karen “Cuppy” Masencup, Linda Risen, Kathy Hege, and Joyce Davis.
