Zachary “Zach” Wilson Cash, 40, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 20, 2025.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at First Alliance Church, where Zach was a faithful member, with Pastor Paul Titus officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Zach was born in 1985 to Terry Eugene Cash and Terri McMillan Cash. Growing up in Davidson County, Zach made his mark on the ballfields and in the hearts of everyone he came across with his selfless spirit. Coaching was his passion and mission-field. Zach inspired our kids to be good people in this world through sport. He poured into countless young lives, mentoring, encouraging, and shaping them in ways that will be felt for years to come. He coached numerous teams, leaving a lasting legacy both on and off the field. He led through his servant heart as an elder at First Alliance Church carrying on the work of Jesus here in our community. Most importantly, he spent all his time awake, loving on and working for his family with a tireless strength. He was the best husband, father, son, brother, friend and coach. Above all, he was a child of God, and his faith guided how he loved, served and led.
Zach’s ever-faithful spirit lives on in his wife Emily and their three children, Abigail, Jackson, and Madelyn. He is also survived by his mom and dad, Terry and Terri Cash; his sisters, Hannah Wagner (Ethan) and Emma Cash; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ron and Pam Sink; his grandparents Glenn and Joanne McMillan, and Frank and Judy Stoner; and a host of extended family and friends who loved him greatly.
Memorials may be directed to The Cash Family College Fund at First National Bank in Lexington, honoring Zach’s legacy by investing in the future of his children.
Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree, is honored to be serving the Cash family.
