Zora Nifong Hartman

Zora Nifong Hartman, age 96 went home to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday October 12, 2025. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be 1:00 pm Saturday October 18, 2025, at Faith Church where she and her late husband J.D. Hartman were charter members. The family will see friends from noon until service time. Officiating will be Pastor Michael Gates.

Mrs. Hartman was born January 25, 1929, in Davidson County to the late Marshall and Mary Miller Nifong. She retired from Forsyth Medical Center after 23 years of service. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda and brothers, Joe Nifong, Caroll Nifong and Ray Nifong. She was also preceded by her sister, Jane Wise (Charles) and sister-in-law, Nancy Nifong.

Surviving are her son, Jimmy Hartman (Kathy) and her daughter, Shannon Fansler (Rodney), Grandchildren: Kale Hartman, Mattie Fansler and Preston Fansler. Great Grandchildren: Ethan Hartman, Dylan Hartman and Gavin Hartman. Her brothers, Donald (Virgina), Ray Jr (Bobbie) and many Nieces and Nephews.
