Zula Weaver Prevette

Zula Mae Weaver Prevette, 87, of Lexington, passed away Thursday November 16, 2023, at her home.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday November 20, 2023, at Good Hope Methodist Church, where she was a member, with Rev. Johnny Lord and Rev. Dustin James officiating services. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. on Sunday.

Mrs. Prevette was born November 20, 1935, Davidson County, NC to Ervin Weaver and Letha Sparks Weaver. Zula was retired from the Dakota Cotton Mills and in her spare time she enjoyed sewing, crafts and working at her church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Otto Kenneth Prevette, and three sons, Terry Prevette, Randy Prevette and Kenneth Prevette.

Surviving are 2 grandchildren, Matt Prevette (Rachel), and Cindi Prevette (Samantha Kahly); 2 great-grandchildren, Ashton Prevette and Cassidy Lindsay; daughters-in-law Penny Prevette and Mary Etta Prevette; and special family members, Gale James, Dustin James (Evelyn), Steven James and Rodney James.
