Bessie Nifong Hyatt

Bessie Nifong Hyatt, 92, formerly of David Smith Road, passed away Friday, August 28, 2009 at Abbotts Creek Care & Rehabilitation Center. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Faith Missionary Alliance Church. Revs. Michael Gates, Albert Smith, and Don Lyerly will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Hyatt was born October 4, 1916, in Davidson County, to Roby Edward Nifong and Nancy Kyle Smith Nifong. She was retired from Norman- Stockton Clothing. She also was a charter member of Faith Missionary Alliance Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Caswell Ashby Hyatt Sr. Sons; Bobby Hyatt, Kenneth Hyatt, Brothers; Robert Clifton ( Buck) Nifong, Glenn Nifong,Reid Nifong, Clay Nifong, Sister; Sue Nifong Cooper. Surviving are her sons, C.A. Hyatt Jr. and wife Judy of Winston Salem, Richard Hyatt and wife Sheila of Destin, FL, Sister; Treva Trivette and husband Jack of Winston Salem. Grandchildren: Craig Hyatt and wife Amy of Winston Salem, Kevin Hyatt and wife Angie of Welcome, Lisa Chamberlain and husband Bobby of King, Tammy Coe and husband Don of Raleigh, Terri Faulker and husband Keith of Wetumpka, Alabama, Jay Galloway of Lexington. Great Grandchildren; Chris Chamberlain of Winston Salem, Justin Coe and wife Javi of Raleigh , Travis Coe of Raleigh, Catie Hyatt of Winston Salem, Caroline Hyatt of Winston Salem, Colby Hyatt of Welcome, Colby Galloway of Lexington. Great-Great Grandchild; Aden Coe of Raleigh. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 pm Saturday August 29, 2009 at Faith Missionary Alliance Church and other times at the home of C.A. Hyatt Jr. Memorials may be made to Faith Missionary Alliance Church 1077 Gumtree Road , Winston Salem, NC 27107 Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the family.
