Cynthia ‘Cindy’ Diane Coble, but known as Mamaw to those who loved her, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, April 28 th at Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ with Rev. Darrell Sluder officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends before the service at the church. All Covid-19 related precautions and restrictions will be practiced.
Cindy was born on December 22, 1958 in Davidson County to James Edward Coble and Carmelita Everhart Coble. She lived in Lexington her entire life and attended Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ. Cindy found happiness in life raising her daughter, Dara, and was blessed with five grandchildren. She loved all of her grandchildren dearly but Maverick held a special place in her heart. Cindy also loved spending time at the beach. She was a special daughter, mother, sister and grandmother and will be missed by everyone. Cindy was preceded in death by her father.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Dara Mingus (Matt) of Tennessee; mother, Carmelita Coble; sisters, Jody Presnell (Charles) and Myra Coble, all of Lexington; and 5 grandchildren, Madison and Austin Spraker and Tyler, Maddox, and Maverick Mingus.
