James William Everhart

James William Everhart, 89, formerly of Holiday Drive, died Monday, July 1 at Hinkle Hospice House. A graveside service will be held at 3pm Wednesday, July 3 at Forest Hill Memorial Park by the Rev. Elizabeth Horton. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. Mr. Everhart was born March 13, 1930 in Davidson County to Robert H. and Artadale Murphy Everhart. He retired from Coble Dairy and was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Helms Everhart; his daughter Pam Kepley; his grandson, Kris Clinard; his brothers, Bill Everhart and Murphy Everhart; his sisters, Dot Freeman and Virginia Everhart; and his beloved dog, Buddy. He is survived by his daughter, Jamie Everhart of Lexington; his grandchildren, Kyle Kepley (Savannah) and Kelli Kepley Hill (Dustin), both of Lexington; four great-grandchildren; and his niece, Kim Fields of Trinity.
