Jean Young

Margaret Jean Hough Young, age 75, of Lexington, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 28, 2021 at the Hinkle Hospice House.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 4 ^th in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Nance Howell officiating.  Visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A committal service will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Jean was born on December 25, 1945 in Florence, South Carolina to Modie Blair Hough and Virginia Janie Ruthven Hough.  She retired as a teacher with Davidson County Schools and was of Baptist faith.  She was a loving wife, mother and Nana and will be forever cherished in our hearts.  Jean was preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Micky Young, of the home; sons, Bill Young (Melissha) and Zak Young (Jamie), both of Lexington; 6 grandchildren, Haley (Alex), Taylor, Jenna, Jordyn, Jacob, Julia and one great-grandchild, Alexander Jr.
