Lillian Everhart Cherry, 89, of Sunbridge of Lexington and formerly of Texas Drive, died Tuesday morning, April 15, 2008, at Sunbridge after declining health of one year.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel by Dr. Charles Yarbrough. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington.
Mrs. Cherry was born Dec. 6, 1918, to Fred C. and Lena Sains Everhart. Mrs. Cherry was a homemaker and a member of Christ United Church of Christ with perfect attendance for 24 years prior to her illness. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifton Everhart and Woodrow Everhart, and a sister, Irene Nance.
Mrs. Cherry is survived by a sister, Gertrude Henderson of Lexington, and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
