Max Eugene Koonts Jr.

Max Eugene Koonts Jr., 69, of Happy Hill Road in Lexington, passed away Friday January 14, 2022 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Lexington.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday January 29, 2022 at Archdale First Church of God in Archdale with Pastor Halle Scott and Pastor Mark Albert conducting services.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Saturday January 29, 2022 at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Mr. Koonts was born December 6, 1952 in Davidson County to Max Eugene Koonts Sr. and Betty Ann Gosnell Koonts. Max loved spending his spare time fishing and was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Mark Koonts.

Surviving are his mother, Betty Koonts; his wife, Teresa McCracken Koonts, of the home; three daughters, Tonia Horne (Thomas) of Thomasville, Kimberly Koonts of Florida, and Dawn Lynch (Jeremiah) of Archdale; and 4 grandchildren, Alex Horne, Zach Horne, Landon Hawkins, and Paisley Lynch.
