Michael Shane Gordon

Michael ‘Shane’ Gordon, 44, of Crossing Way Court in High Point passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at his home.  Funeral services will be held at 4:30pm on Friday, June 8 at Lakeview Baptist Church with the Rev. David Wooten officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday, June 7 at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.  Shane was born on July 7, 1973 in Rowan County to Johnny Michael Gordon and Marian Ribelin Gordon.  He graduated from High Point University with a Master’s Degree and also graduated from UNC Charlotte with a Human Resource Degree.  He was an electrical engineer employed with High Point University.  Shane was preceded in death by his father.  Surviving is his mother, Marian Ribelin Gordon; sister, Debbie Waters of Linwood; aunts, Mildred Rabon and Joyce Stout, both of Linwood; and special cousins, Donald Ribelin, Donna Young, Renay Holbrook, Christie Ribelin, Dennis Rabon, Amy Cushman, Tiffany Cottingham, Jackson Field and Paelyn Field.  Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
