Michael (Mike) James Colston

Michael (Mike) James Colston, age 50, of Jake Shoaf Rd., Lexington passed away Sunday April 25, 2010 at his home after a sudden illness. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday April 27, 2010 at Forest Hill Memorial Park Chapel by Rev. Roger Weisner. Mr. Colston was born June 9, 1959 in Davidson County to James Marvin Colston Jr. and Peggy Crawford Colston. He was a self employed Construction Worker and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter Cindi Colston. Surviving are his wife, Martha McCrary Colston of the home; one son, Robert Wayne Hinkle and wife Dena of Lexington; one daughter, Julie Anne Hinkle of Lexington; His mother Peggy Crawford Colston of Lexington; two brothers, Ronnie Colston and wife Lisa of Welcome, James Colston and wife Sharon of Lexington; two sisters, Donna Colston of Lexington and Vivian Myers and husband Donald of Welcome; four grandchildren, Maggie McCrary, Brianna Franks, Gillian Hinkle and Lincoln Hinkle; four nieces, Ashley Nelson husband Rex, Alexis Myers, Whitney and Chelsea Kaylor, one nephew, Justin Colston. The family will receive friends at other times at the home on Jake Shoaf Rd., Lexington. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hinkle Hospice Home, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington NC 27292 Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel is serving the family.
