Nancy Hartman Wagoner

Mrs. Nancy Hartman Wagoner, age 91 of Midway passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Mallard Ridge Assisted Living with family by her side.  Nancy was born November 17, 1932, in Forsyth County to Reid William Hartman and Lillian Murphy Hartman.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lowell Vender Wagoner, daughter, Leslie Suzette Wagoner, brother, Wayne Hartman, and nephew, Terry Hartman.

Nancy loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She loved family time.  She retired from Mutual of Omaha and was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church.  She volunteered at Second Harvest Food Bank after retirement.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Cindy Moorefield (Jim), grandchildren, Dana Moorefield, Leslie Moorefield, great-grandchildren, Leah Griffin, Leyla Griffin, Lenna Moorefield, brother-in-law, Ted Wagoner (Pam), and nieces, Shana, Amber and Krystal.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at New Friendship Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends after service in the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Nancy’s name to Hospice of Davidson County or New Friendship Baptist Church.
