Randy Keith Barney

Randy Keith Barney, age 47, of Perryman Road, Reedy Creek Community, Lexington, went home to be with his Lord, whom he loved, Sunday, September 9, 2007, at his home. A Celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday at Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ken W. Harris, Jr. and Rev. T.W. Bailey. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Randy was born in Davidson County, January 17, 1960 to Levi Barney and Virginia Cole Barney. He was a graduate of North Davidson High School, employed with R.J. Reynolds Whitaker Park Plant for 29 years and a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are: Parents; Levi and Virginia Barney of Lexington, Brother; Mickey Dale Barney of Lexington, Niece; Cyndi Nicole Barney of Hudson, Florida; Special Cousin David Lee Cole of Yadkinville and several other cousins. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel from 6 until 8 pm Tuesday and at other times at the home of his parents on Perryman Road, Lexington.
