Ruby Perryman Ball

Ruby Perryman Ball, age 85 of Mallard Ridge, formerly of Highway 150 passed away Wednesday morning. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday in the Davidson Funeral Home-Hickory Tree Chapel with Rev. Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the service. Ruby was born in Davidson County August 9, 1931 to Sidney Albert and Ida Lou Hill Perryman. She was a retired employee of Western Electric/Lucent Technologies. Her parents preceded her in death along with her son, Byron Ball. Surviving are; her husband of 65 years, Wilbert E. Ball of Mallard Ridge; her grandsons, Nathan and Ryan Windus Ball; a brother, Roy Perryman of Clemmons; daughter-in-law, Patrice Ball of Portland, Oregon; sister-in-law, Erline Perryman of Clemmons and numerous nieces and nephews.
