Virginia Dare Shaw

Virginia Dare Shaw, 74, of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Piedmont Crossing.
A graveside service will be held 4 pm Friday, February 25, at Heath Church with Rev. Darrell Sluder officiating.
Mrs. Shaw was born March 2, 1947, in Davidson County to Jack C. Temple and Ruby Temple. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Robbie Dewayne Shaw; five brothers, Bobby Temple, Albert Temple, William Temple, JC Temple, and Charlie Temple; three sisters, Daisy Briggs, Becky Hedrick, and Cathy Knox; and one great-grandson, Zeke Surratt.
Surviving is her husband, Robert A. Shaw; one daughter, Crystal Shaw Pitman (Michael) of Lexington; one sister, Peggy Bates (Donald) of Lexington; two grandchildren, Heather Surratt (Joe) and Matthew Watkins (Sarah); and four great-grandchildren, Eli Surratt, Easton Surratt, Austin Watkins, Paiton Surratt, Olivia Surratt, and Luke Watkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Piedmont Crossing 100 Hedrick Dr. Thomasville, NC 27360.
